The below video, while a mere 19 seconds of hilarity, is proof of multiple realities on the left, including the ridiculous belief that “climate change” is genuinely the existential threat to mankind, the left’s ongoing efforts to indoctrinate America’s young children, and the consequences of that delusional indoctrination.
Today’s proof comes in the person of House Democrat Whip Katherine Clark during an appearance on this Sunday’s episode of “Meet the Press” —Meet the Depressed, as Rush Limbaugh gleefully referred to the left-“leaning” show — when Clark told host Chuck Todd that she could remember her “little child waking up with nightmares” about “climate change.” No, really.
Let me tell you what it [climate change armageddon] means to me, coming in as a different generation. I remember my little child waking up with nightmares over concern around climate change.
Hmm. Wonder why? Spoiler: We’ll get there.
Just one problem. As I reported in late July, polls continue to show that a growing number of Americans are pulling the plug on the left’s climate change hysteria, with just one percent of registered voters viewing climate change as a top priority — far from the “existential threat” nonsense.
OK, let’s do the why.
While Clark didn’t mention her “little child’s” age at the time of the alleged nightmares, why on earth would a small child worry about climate change, of all things, let alone have nightmares about it? I mean, maybe a sick puppy, a lost toy, or any number of little kid things, but climate change?
I got this one:
Because at least one of the kid’s left-wing parents either instilled the fear of God in the child about “the existential threat to mankind,” or perhaps Clark and her partner, assuming she has one, anguished about the imminent climate apocalypse in the presence of that child to the extent that the kid had nightmares about something that he, she, they, et al., had never seen or experienced, much less understood.
Call it what you want, left-wingers, but it’s unadulterated brainwashing and indoctrination.
You know, just like programming young children of all colors and ethnicities to believe that “systemic racism” exists within every white person on the planet, simply because of skin color, and also to believe that people can change genders, pronouns at will, and other bits of insanity.
Apologies, Ms. Clark, but your child’s “nightmares” — past, present, or future — are due to your efforts, with perhaps an assist or two from your left-wing pals with whom you commune on a regular basis.
Incidentally, when it comes to Democrat fearmongering, some things never change. During a 1980 presidential debate between Democrat President Jimmy Carter and challenger Ronald Reagan, as the debate was rolling along, fairly uneventfully, Carter injected a bizarre line into a discussion about nuclear weapons that various political pundits at the time suggested doomed his re-election effort:
“I think to close out this discussion, it would be better to put into perspective what we’re talking about. I had a discussion with my daughter, Amy, the other day, before I came here, to ask her what the most important issue was. She said she thought nuclear weaponry and the control of nuclear arms.”
Amy Carter was 13 years old at the time.
The Bottom Line
While Carter’s ridiculous claim was no doubt fabricated, I strongly believe that Katherine Clark’s was not. Why? Because of the predatory programming of young children by the left at every opportunity.
Today, one might wonder how many similar little children across America might wake up in the middle of the night after a nightmare about “white supremacists,” so-called “gender-affirming” surgery — irreversible mutilation of young boys and girls who’ve been programmed to think they might be a member of the other sex — or randomly being gunned down on a city street.
But, hey, my liberal friends — it’s all about the ballot box.
