How Many Masks Do Experts Want You to Wear? One. Two, or Three?

To wear a mask or to not wear a mask? It’s a question just about everyone but the far left considers on a daily basis anymore. Of course, government mandates require them in certain areas or establishments, and those should probably be heeded. But not all places do.

Besides, the pandemic seems to be winding down, right? I mean, a viable vaccine has been found and distributed – several, in fact. Furthermore, case numbers seem to be going down just about everywhere.

Look at California, for example, or Washington, D.C.

Here government mandates have held citizens under lock and key for nearly a year now, preventing them from doing things like going to the gym or going out with friends. And yet, within hours of Joe Biden being sworn into office, both began reopening procedures as you’ve never seen before – each claiming that the dangers of COVID-19 have passed for the most part.

But as you know, it can’t be over until the leading faction of the political elite and media say so. And as of now, that’s not quite happened yet.

In fact, if anything, so-called experts say it’s more dangerous than ever out there, as new strains of the virus have been recently found in Europe. And, according to them, this makes the real question we should be ourselves not if we should be wearing a mask but how many should be worn.

On Monday, the infamous Dr. Anthony Fauci suggested to Americans on NBC’s “Today” show with Savannah Guthrie that doubling up on masks when in public was a good idea.

He said, “If you have a physical covering with one layer, you put another layer on, it just makes common sense that it likely would be more effective.”

Yes, common sense would dictate that to some degree.

However, what about science?

As we all know, President Donald Trump tried to handle the virus with common sense on a near-daily basis, and all it got him was people screaming that “science” was being ignored – with Dr. Fauci being one of the loudest of those voices at times.

Then again, maybe wearing two masks isn’t enough, according to science…

Per Virginia Tech’s Linsey Marr and The New York Times, three masks are the new acceptable number.

She claims, “If you combine multiple layers, you start achieving pretty high efficiencies” of blocking air particles that could contain the virus.

And CNBC’s Contessa Brewer and Shepard Smith seem to agree.

According to Brewer, “The experts keep telling us that wearing masks is really about protecting others from ourselves in the event that we are contagious. But you know if other people aren’t wearing their masks or they’re wearing them improperly, we need to protect ourselves.” She added, “So experts say you can double up with a tight weave fabric mask for added protection.”

According to the studies done at Virginia Tech, wearing two masks at once increase “face coverage efficacy” to 50-75 percent. And adding yet another mask takes that number closer to 90 percent. Brewer stated, “a three-layer mask could block up to 90 percent of the particles.”

Of course, it also blocks 90 percent of your air…

As several on social media suggest, it seems as though they’re trying to make breathing at all illegal.

Then again, how are supposed to trust their “science” when it seems to change all of the time?

Remember when Dr. Fauci told us early on that wearing masks actually had little to no effect on whether or not you got the virus? In fact, he basically told us not to wear them. But, of course, that opinion changed a mere few weeks later, with him doing a complete 360 on the idea.

Of course, that didn’t stop him from disobeying his own recommendations. And now, we are expected to believe that we should be wearing at least two, if not three, masks at once at any given time?

At this rate, we’ll be wearing hazmat suits before the years out, regardless of how many vaccines are available or what the case numbers are like. I mean, when will enough be enough?

I’m sure the answer to the political left and their propaganda wing of media elites is never, at least not so long as they can get power or money out of it.
