BREAKING: Jim Jordan Subpoenas Fulton County DA Fani Willis Over Alleged Misuse of Federal Funds

House Judiciary Committee Chair Jim Jordan has now subpoenaed Fulton County DA Fani Willis.

His letter accompanying the subpoena notes they have asked Willis for documents in the past related to the use of federal grant funds on three separate occasions in August, September, and December of last year, but she has not complied with their requests.

The letter references allegations about a whistleblower report alleging misuse of federal grant funds for “frivolous, unrelated expenses” including allegedly using it for “Mac books…swag…travel” and that Willis thereafter allegedly terminated the whistleblower.

You can read the full letter here.

The subpoena demands she turn over the documents related to the hundreds of thousands in federal grant funds as well as any communications about the allegations that relate to an allegations of improper use of that money.

Jordan’s subpoena directed Willis to respond with the requested documents by Feb. 23.
‚ÄúThese allegations raise serious concerns about whether you were appropriately supervising the expenditure of federal grant funding allocated to your office and whether you took actions to conceal your office‚Äôs unlawful use of federal funds,‚ÄĚ Jordan wrote.

Add that to the mound of trouble that Willis is already in.
