Joe Biden’s classified documents scandal just keeps getting worse.
As we reported earlier, Biden’s Special Counsel Richard Sauber found five more classified documents on Thursday evening, but that was only announced on Saturday.
“Because I have a security clearance, I went to Wilmington Thursday evening to facilitate providing the document the President’s personal counsel found on Wednesday to the Justice Department,” Sauber said. “While I was transferring it to the DOJ officials who accompanied me, five additional pages with classification markings were discovered among the material with it, for a total of six pages. The DOJ officials with me immediately took possession of them.”
But on Thursday afternoon, White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre told everyone the search was “complete” and that Biden was “confident in the process.”
She repeated it six times, saying over and over again that “you assume the search has been completed.”
She was telling us it was over, that the search was “complete,” even before Sauber found more documents. So, that was just a lie. Then we weren’t even told about those documents that they found Thursday, until Saturday. Can we say what a mess this is? At this point, how can anyone trust what the White House is even saying, when they tell us bald-faced lies like this? Biden and the White House just keep saying that they take it “seriously” and are being transparent, even as they show us that Biden hasn’t taken it seriously and that they haven’t been transparent. They can’t even get their statements straight anymore; they can’t keep up with the lies.
Sauber said that now, they won’t be answering any more questions but referring them to the special counsel appointed by Attorney General Merrick Garland. Not like they were telling us the truth anyway, but what nerve. No, you haven’t been forthcoming; you’ve been hiding this since November, so it didn’t blow up on Biden and the Democrats before the election.
But this begs the question once again: why isn’t there law enforcement all over Biden’s homes and office? Why are we taking the Biden White House’s word for this? Where’s the raid from the FBI or a lockdown of the properties? Why is the FBI/DOJ just accepting what they have to say about this?
