As President Joe Biden’s answers to the press get worse, so do his ratings. His disastrous withdrawal of American troops from Afghanistan has plummeted numbers in the polls. According to recent Rasmussen Reports, 52% of U.S voters believe that Biden should resign over the way the US withdrawal from Afghanistan was handled. 39% of the voters said they disagreed and 9% said they are not sure.
Biden’s disastrous planning has even left 13 U.S service members and over 170 Afghans dead in a suspected ISIS-K blast at the Kabul airport. Parents of fallen soldiers have even lashed out at Biden over the move, adding that he “unnecessarily” pulled soldiers out just to send them right back in. They said it didn’t need to happen that way.
The Rasmussen reports also asks respondents if they agree with the following statement: “I think Joe Biden deserves to be impeached because he’s abandoned thousands of Afghans who fought with us and he’s going to abandon some American citizens because he capitulated to the Taliban to a 31 August deadline.” 60% of respondents said they somewhat agreed with the statement while 46% said they strongly agreed.
The voters’ confidence in Kamala Harris remains little to none. 47% of voters have said in recent polling that they believe Harris is “not at all qualified” and 11% said she is not very qualified.
Former President Donald Trump has not only lashed out at Biden over his disastrous withdrawal but also showing “tremendous disrespect to the families of fallen soldiers. Biden was seen checking his watch as the service members’ coffins were being carried off the airplane at the Dover Air Force Base in Delaware. He said that the parents and relatives are angry “as they should be.”
Trump even stepped in to comfort one of the grieving moms who lost her Marine son in the suicide bombing at the Kabul airport. The mom had shared in a lengthy Facebook post how President Biden rolled his eyes at her during the dignified transfer of the remains of her son. She said President Biden was trying to give his own sob story about his son, which made her say, “this isn’t about you, don’t make this about you.” Biden said he knows how it feels and the mom replied that he did not have the right to tell her how it feels.
“U then rolled your f***ing eyes in your head like you were annoyed with me and i let you know that the only reason i was talking to you was out of respect for my son,” the mom wrote in the widely-shared Facebook post.
Trump issued a response to the mother, sympathizing with her son’s death. He said if he were President that her son would be with her now, along with all of the sons and daughters who died in the vicious Kabul airport attack.
“Civilians should have been brought out first, along with our $85 billion of equipment, with the Military coming out very safely after all was clear. I love you, and I love Kareem,” Trump concluded.
On top of a disastrous withdrawal and a lack of respect, Biden also didn’t mind abandoning $85 billion worth of military weapons that are now in the hands of the Taliban. It has gotten so bad that Trump has pointed out how there must be “something wrong” with his successor. Biden’s cognitive impairment has been put on public display over the last few weeks.
During a recent interview at his New Jersey golf club, Trump went on to talk about Biden running for office again in 2024. He said Biden was going to be 79 years old and that he considers him to be “not that old.” He said he knew many people much older than that who are as sharp as they were 40 years ago. He said something was “going wrong” with Biden and that “things are happening left and right.” He said it was too far forward to predict anything but clear that Biden has not been in the mood to do his job.
Trump also pointed out the fact that Vice President Kamala Harris jetted off to Singapore right when the Afghan government fell to the Taliban. Her ratings have also plummeted to the lowest of any first-year VP going back to Gore in 1993. “It’s not a great time. It’s not a great time. She probably wants to get away. Who can blame her?” He said.
There’s a lot going wrong with Joe Biden. Not to mention, the public believes Trump won the election and should be the President in the first place. Biden won the crooked count and brought his dementia to the Oval Office.
