Hunter Biden, President Joe Biden’s son, was entangled in a handful of shady financial transactions back in 2014-2015, including a $3.5 million payment from Elena Baturina, the wife of the former Mayor Yuri Luzhkov of Moscow. While Luzhkov was fired for alleged corruption in 2010, Biden received the $3.5 million payout in 2014 for “consultancy” work and several payments worth hundreds of thousands of dollars in 2015, which were listed as part of a “loan agreement.” They were wired to Biden’s Rosemont Seneca Partners investment firm, which was founded by Hunter and his partner Devon Archer.
The findings, detailed in a Senate report, emphasized a conflict of interest between Joe Biden, who was vice president under the Obama Administration at the time, and his son’s financial interests with foreign governments. It was released in a September report titled “Hunter Biden, Burisma and Corruption: The Impact on U.S Government Policy and Related Concerns.” But of course, the White House knows “nothing” about any of this.
White House press secretary Jen Psaki was recently asked by New York Post reporter Stephen Nelson about the payout to Hunter Biden’s firm back in 2014, in which she replied that she was “not familiar” with that claim. “It does not sound like it is backed up with a lot of evidence. If you have evidence or specifics, I’m happy to discuss it further” she adds.
Anyone who’s been following the investigation of Hunter Biden knows that the $3.5 million payout is pennies in terms of government corruption, especially since it’s not as well known as his $50,000 a month paycheck from Burisma, a Ukraine energy board he sat on. But the fact that Psaki flat out ignored the reports, which were published by the Senate Finance and Homeland Security committees, is even more alarming.
A laptop that formerly belonged to Hunter was also publicized, in which he used his father’s name and connections for business deals with China and Ukraine leaders. Even former President Trump brought up the $3.5 million deal multiple times, which Joe completely denied on the debate stage.
“Joe got $3.5 million from Russia. And it came through Putin because he was very friendly with the former mayor of Moscow and it was the mayor of Moscow’s wife. He got $3.5 million. Your family got $3.5 million and you know, someday you’re gonna have to explain — why did you get three and a half [million]?” Trump said.
New reports have also revealed that the Secret Service officers even helped Hunter look for a firearm he supposedly “lost” in 2018, which was later revealed to have been tossed in a trashcan near a high school by Joe Biden’s daughter-in-law Hallie. The Secret Service, however, says it has “no record” of its agents investigating the incident in the first place. On copies of the Firearms Transaction Record and a receipt for the gun dated Oct. 12, 2018, Hunter even lied about being an unlawful user or addicted to “marijuana or any depressant, stimulant, narcotic drug, or any other controlled substance.” He’d responded “no” on the forms. Years later, his family spoke out about his avid drug use.
Even though mainstream media continue to try and suppress all of these allegations, a set of conservative filmmakers, Ann McElhinney and Phelim McAleer, have announced that they will be fundraising for a new film called ‘My Son Hunter.’ The film will reveal all of the Biden family’s corrupt dealings with both China and Ukraine, as well as the emails and transactions retrieved from his personal laptop.
Hunter Biden’s story gets weirder every day and more filmmakers and independent reporters will have to investigate the claims. President Biden will never get asked anything other than softball questions with a teleprompter answer, and if you ask Psaki, she’ll just “circle back” to that another time.
