Last week, I saw the signs and predicted what the left’s narrative was going to be that would hurt the Trump administration. The theme would be “cruelty,” as in everything Trump does, everything his supporters do, and every consequence suffered by his victims, would revolve around cruelty.

I even said that you’d see the word itself pop up repeatedly. Sure enough, I was proven right. I’m not patting myself on the back here. In truth, the left is just too easily predictable.
Right now, the most “cruel” thing Trump is doing is the deportations or, more accurately, the repatriations that are happening in impressive numbers. Daily, ICE is going out and rounding up criminals who don’t belong in this nation and shipping them back to their countries. Moreover, Border Czar Tom Homan, the man in charge of the task, is so matter-of-fact and unemotional about the whole thing that he makes this all seem like it’s the most natural thing in the world.
This is refreshing, since the last border czar, Kamala Harris, acted like the border had leprosy and refused to go near it unless she absolutely had to.
But on cue, the left is responding to all of this with outcry, suggesting at every turn that what the Trump administration is doing is heartless. This was set up from the get-go when the CBP One app was deleted and a WaPo writer just so happened to be there to capture the moment a woman waiting for an immigration appointment found it was canceled.
A tip to the crying woman; I would schedule an acting class or two before an appointment with border officials. You’re over-acting.
Oh cruelty, thy name is Trump.
The wailing and gnashing of teeth happening from the left, even that from people like the weeping Selena Gomez, is all performative. None of these people said a word when women and girls were sold into sex slavery by the criminal element flooding across the border. None of them spoke a word while the fentanyl coming across the border with drug smugglers killed a quarter of a million Americans. They were all silent as women were raped and murdered like Laken Riley, or little girls like Jocelyn Nungary.
But only now that these repatriations have started do they feel the emotional weight of the moment? When their loved ones are sick, do they smile at the infection and curse and scream at the doctor when he administers a treatment to stop it? Our people are literally suffering and dying, and now that we’re making the odds of comfort and survivability greater, they’re angry?
Who is the cruel one in the room again?
But the point here is that it doesn’t matter what these people say or think, because the attitude we should all have is the same one Homan conveys. One that boils down to “this is happening, and we’re doing this without apology.”
Watch Homan here as a reporter attempts to paint ICE and the deportations as cruel — going so far as to bring up bruises on people’s arms — and Homan calls out the exaggerations and lies as “crap,” shrugs at her complaints, and even promises that it’s going to get turned up a notch.
This country has suffered too much from its open border. As I wrote last week, I’m out of compassion for these illegal migrants. They shouldn’t be here in the first place, and while I wouldn’t paint them all as dangerous, they are all criminals for entering this country illegally and causing a myriad of problems. The open border leaves us incredibly vulnerable, and the damage it’s caused is demonstrable.

But as Homan demonstrates, it’s not cruelty, it’s just the business of getting people out of our country who don’t belong here. It’s the simple act of making our cities safer, our drug problem less severe, and punching holes in trafficking of all kinds. This isn’t mean or nasty, it’s basic business.
All dramatizations and exaggerations shouldn’t move your emotional state one iota.
And trust me, this is only going to get turned up to 11 with the press and the left. I expect we’ll see marches in the street soon as reporters breathlessly curse Trump with righteous indignation. I also expect organizations like Google, and even a few AI networks will play along and slant the deportations as either cruel or unnecessary. Again, I’m not Nostrodomos, I just know the left’s patterns at this point.
Regardless, it’s going to be a narrative battle, and it’s all our jobs to make sure the legacy media and the left define what’s happening.
This is why we would love it if you’d join our VIP Program, and help us get the real truth out as they attempt to push the lie. Right now, if you enter promo code “SAVEAMERICA” you’ll get 50% off your sign-up price and get access to articles, videos, and podcasts.
It really helps keep us in the game, but whether you decide to join us, keep an eye on the left. They might move predictably, but they still have a lot of power despite its losses. Also, this kind of force doesn’t sleep or dissipate. They regroup, strategize, and try again.
BRILLIANT!
