BREAKING: Trump Makes His Selection for the Crucial Role of Ambassador to Israel

Fresh off of making public several Cabinet-level nominations, Donald Trump has started to show his hand on who will get the crucial ambassadorships that will play an important part in his administration’s foreign policy agenda. First up: Israel. 

Trump announced Tuesday that he is nominating Mike Huckabee, former governor of Arkansas, to be his ambassador to Israel, an important ally to the United States.

I am pleased to announce that the Highly Respected former Governor of Arkansas, Mike Huckabee, has been nominated to be The United States Ambassador to Israel. Mike has been a great public servant, Governor, and Leader in Faith for many years. He loves Israel, and the people of Israel, and likewise, the people of Israel love him. Mike will work tirelessly to bring about Peace in the Middle East!

The move by Trump is being widely praised, as Huckabee is a fighter and fierce supporter of the state of Israel.
