Joe Biden has said a lot of bizarre things over his time occupying office.
But he was just cooked on Thursday as he was traveling back to the White House, and he spoke to reporters in between switching from his plane to Marine One.
Biden spoke about Liz and Dick Cheney because Liz Cheney was campaigning with Kamala Harris in Wisconsin on Thursday. What Biden said had some on the left losing their minds, and it is in complete contrast to what he used to say about Dick Cheney. Add to that, Joe appeared to be sundowning up a storm, as he got angry when questioned by reporters and then made bizarre comments about Israel and hurricanes.
She made one of most consequential speeches I’ve ever heard. She has character. I know her dad and her dad as well. We argue like hell but I always admired his courage and honesty. What she did not took only political courage but physical courage. Physical courage it took to do. I’ve never been so proud. Really incredibly proud of her.
She and her father have character. Character, dammit, is what we need in this country! Character, there’s not enough of it in terms of [unintelligible].
Then, as he turned to another reporter for another question, he appeared unsteady for a moment, right at about 55 seconds in the video. What the heck is happening there?
Then the reporter asked about him speaking to Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu, whom he said he was going to speak to but seems to have brushed off for days. Biden said he hadn’t spoken to him because “there is no action going on right now.” What? Does he not know what has been going on? There’s no action going on? There were Iranian ballistic missiles fired at Israel two days ago. Yikes. He’s completely disconnected, and what he has said has been undercutting of Israel.

Some thought perhaps he was mistakenly tipping off information that Israel would not be retaliating that day.
That would also be another huge problem. I think Israel has been holding things close to the vest precisely because they don’t trust Biden. So, I wonder if they would even tell them until retaliation was underway.
It’s hard to hear, but I think he was also asked about hitting Iran’s oil facilities and whether that would make the prices go up. His response? “If the hurricane hits, the prices will go up. I don’t know, who knows,” he ranted back at her.
She asks, “Are you telling them [Israel] not to do that?”
Biden responded, “I don’t negotiate in public.”
Not only does he seem about 100 years old here mentally and maybe physically as well, what he said about Dick Cheney is, of course, another lie. He called him the “most dangerous vice president probably in American history.”
Yet, now, when they want to use his endorsement to help them hold onto control, he has “courage and honesty.” Oh, and “character, dammit!” Reality flips on its head.
They keep touting the Cheney endorsement as though it means something when, in fact, the left hates them, and no one on the right cares about them. Liz Cheney lost her seat by almost 40 points she was so rejected by Republicans in her state. So, who does such an endorsement help?
Some on the left were stunned that Biden said this, given their opinion of Cheney. But they shouldn’t be. Democrats are always completely transactional; it’s always about their own power. So they’ll flip on a dime and embrace the “most dangerous vice president probably in American history.”
Biden says there’s a need for character. Indeed.
Too bad he has none of it.
