Hatred of Jewish people has made a real resurgence in America as Israel continues its war against terrorism. Antisemites have come out of the woodwork, and you’ll find quite a bit of them in universities.
They seem to be oddly organized, and what’s more, the Democrats seem oddly quiet about it, which is something Ted Cruz brought up during a Judiciary Committee hearing discussing the issue.
Cruz was deep into a rant noting the Democrat’s lack of real pushback against the antisemitic element of blue states, saying that the Democrats were “terrified of the pro-Hamas wing of their party.” He noted that in red states like Texas and Florida, these problems with violent antisemites weren’t an issue, bringing up the event that happened at the University of Texas as an example where pro-Hamas students were immediately dispersed by police.
It was at this point that a man in the crowd began yelling antisemitic things at Cruz.
“F***ing Jews and the Israelis, talk about the 40,000,” the man yelled. “Talk about all these people. Why is it about antisemitism?”
Cruz used this as an opportunity to highlight his point.
“This is the kind of anger and hate that is encouraged,” said Cruz as the man was escorted out. “You’re now seeing the hate manifesting right here. We now have a demonstration of antisemitism. We have a demonstration of the hate.”
Here is another angle where the man can be heard better. Be aware, there is a language warning.
It’s a moment that only serves to highlight exactly what many have been saying about the increasing boldness of anti-Israel and Jewish hatred in America. It’s not attempting to temper or hide itself any longer. These people have been emboldened to step out into the light and speak freely about their hatred of the Jewish people. This is too often paired with talk about the elimination of Israel, which is just not-so coded language for wiping out the Jewish people.
The problem on the left has gotten so bad that notable Democrats have left the party, including longtime Democrat Alan Dershowitz, who watched as the Democrats were silent while many people outside the DNC were chanting about being pro-Hamas and that there was nothing wrong with October 7, referring to the day Hamas killed, raped, and kidnapped innocent Israelis.

Cruz’s anger over this lack of action is justified as it has allowed for riots and violence; however, the Democrat Party seems to be largely silent about it, only emboldening the antisemitic wing of their party to grow in power and put more people in danger.
