The day after the ABC debate, we have a lot of takes on how things went.
Kamala Harris told a boatload of lies and the moderators let her get away with it, not fact-checking her at all while constantly fact-checking former President Donald Trump on things that were true or clearly opinion.
But it’s also the anniversary of 9/11, so both candidates were in New York City.

But there were a couple of comments on Monday from Joe Biden and Kamala Harris that stuck in people’s craw, especially given the day.
During the debate, Kamala Harris tried to tag Trump over the Jan. 6 riot, terming it “the worst attack on our democracy since the Civil War.”
But in the process, she also managed to forget about things like Pearl Harbor and 9/11, which was pretty offensive, particularly given the day.
Oh, and I’m inclined to think that removing the candidate who had 14 million votes in the primary and replacing him with a person who didn’t get any votes for that position is also an “attack on democracy.” So really, Harris is in no place to talk about attacks on democracy.
But Harris wasn’t the only one spewing the bad comments. Joe Biden was at it when he referenced 9/11, as our friends at Twitchy reported. He spoke about going to visit his granddaughter and that he was going to “doing 9/11.” Yikes.
Then, on Tuesday, one of the family members, the wife of a fire chief killed on 9/11, called out Biden for his “flippant” remark and chastised the Biden-Harris administration for their efforts to make a plea deal with the terrorists.
The widow thanked everyone who stood up against it, and she continued the call for justice for those who had been killed by the terrorists. It’s incredible that the cases are still continuing after all this time.

I’ve written about that travesty in the past and it’s another one of those horrible actions of the Biden-Harris team, making deals with terrorists. Imagine that she even has to say this now, and that after all these years, the Biden-Harris team would cut such a deal. The only reason they were stopped was because of the public outcry.
Also if you note when she said it while Biden and Harris had been standing next to Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY) as well as Trump and JD Vance, they were missing in that clip. Looks like they’d already taken off, while Trump and Vance stayed. To be fair, they were going to Shanksville for another remembrance, but they should have timed it out better. Trump and Vance went to both as well but stayed to listen to the families like this widow in NYC.
