I wrote on Sunday about new video showing people pointing out the Trump shooter on the roof of a nearby building.
You could see the people saying, “He’s on the roof,” and trying to get the police to respond. You can hear Trump still speaking, still on the stage. As the seconds ticked off, you had to wonder what was going on and why they weren’t getting to the guy. The video lasted just under a minute.

I mentioned in the prior story that some were placing it at about two minutes between the video beginning where the people spot him and the shots.
Now, there’s a great video from MilkBarTV that puts together multiple angles of what was happening starting from when the people on that new video point out the man. You can see the clock ticking down, former President Donald Trump speaking, then the response after the shooting. You can count just how long it takes between the people spotting the guy on the roof until we hear the shots.
It’s also incredibly heartbreaking to see the people calling desperately for help for Corey Comperatore, the man who shielded his family members and was killed.
You can see the moment that the AP’s Evan Vucci took that iconic picture of Trump with the fist pump framed by the American flag and his vantage point. You can hear the RSBN reporter Vanessa Broussard saying we have breaking news, to “go live.”
It runs until they get Trump into The Beast and take off.
It’s a great compilation and it shows at minimum how long it was from some people spotting the shooter to the shots ringing out. It’s just under two minutes.
The thing is, it may be even longer. This is just what video we have at this point. The witness who spoke to the BBC said he was trying to get attention on the matter for multiple minutes. That’s certainly going to add to the questions that everyone has been asking about how this could have happened.
We reported earlier how they may have had information in advance about the vulnerability of the roof. They should have covered it anyway. There was also the shocking report according to sources to RealClearPolitics writer Susan Crabtree that resources were moved from the Trump rally to Jill Biden who was also in the Pittsburgh area because of the protocol related to former presidents, despite the fact that he’s also a current candidate with a lot of threats against him.
Also, the Trump team may have been operating with a lot of replacements, though the Secret Service denied that the Trump team was denied resources.
We already saw questions about protection for the candidates when Robert F. Kennedy Jr complained about not getting protection, despite the assassinations of his father and his uncle.
It’s incredibly important to get answers, most immediately to ensure that Trump is safe going forward, but also to find out why this all happened.
