Biden didn’t wear a mask when he spoke and he walked off the podium without putting on his mask again, even though he asked all Americans to wear masks indoors.
Jen Psaki, White House Press Secretary, said that the president was not infected with the coronavirus. Jen Psaki had been in contact with an Air Force One mid-level staffer who tested positive for the virus just two days earlier. “He’s asymptomatic. He is feeling great after I spent hours with him this morning,” she stated, before the speech of the president at the White House.
Psaki stated that Biden had been tested negative for the virus yesterday and would be tested for it again on Wednesday. “He doesn’t have symptoms. “He has not tested positive. He was negative as indicated by us yesterday and will be tested again tomorrow. He has not had any symptoms.
Biden has had a dry, persistent cough throughout his presidency. However, it has become worse in recent weeks. Biden had previously blamed his dry cough and hoarse voice on a cold he got from his baby grandson over Thanksgiving.
