The Democratic Party has taken it upon themselves to try and force people to get the vaccine even when they do not want to get it or need it. They have tried to bribe and scare people into getting the shot but have fallen short of the kind of response they desperately hoped for. The truth is people do not trust the liberals because they are known, liars. And no one is willing to put their lives in danger just because a liberal says they should.
In a rare twist of normalcy, Ron DeSantis has taken up the challenge to help encourage people to get the vaccine to save lives and help themselves stay healthy. The big difference between how DeSantis is encouraging people and how Biden and his group are threatening people is how they are approaching the people.
DeSantis is encouraging people to make the decision themselves. He wants them to make up their minds. But Biden seeks to bribe or force people to do what he wants them to do. He has already tried to threaten people by saying that a mask mandate will remain until specific numbers can be reached.
The COVID-19 vaccine does work, and it will save lives and has lowered the death rate all over the country. The big issue is how people are being approached to take it. Americans are not a people that can be told what to do. They are accustomed to deciding for themselves what the right course is for their own lives. That is why socialism will never work in America.
DeSantis was apparent when he stated, “So, here’s I think the most important thing with the data. If you are vaccinated, fully vaccinated, the chance of you getting seriously ill or dying from COVID is effectively zero. If you look at the people that are being admitted to hospitals, over 95% of them are either not fully vaccinated or not vaccinated at all.”

The Floridian governor tells the truth and provides the facts. And he lets the people decide for themselves what the right course of action is for them. He understands that not every person needs to get the vaccine because many have already had the virus and are naturally immune to any future infections.
Since the vaccine was put out, the death rate in nursing homes has dramatically dropped. People are free to come and go and not have to worry about catching a virus that will take their life simply because they are older adults.
DeSantis put seniors first during the pandemic, and many of them survived without a scratch. Compared to the seniors living in New York, Floridian seniors were better cared for and helped through the pandemic. Andrew Cuomo saw thousands of them to their graves because he hated the fact that he was powerless to control the people.
DeSantis stated that “Mortality in nursing homes since we rolled out the vaccines in December is down over 95% due to COVID. Mortality for elderly people since we rolled out the vaccines is down nearly 90%. And so we’re proud in Florida that we put seniors first on that because they were the most vulnerable. We have 85% of our seniors that are vaccinated and about 75% of folks over the age of 50. We have no mandate, we’ve provided information to people, and we’ve been very honest about any data that comes out.”
Seniors living in New York would have better lives living under Ron DeSantis. The Republican Party in Florida cares about the elderly. They will not seek to harm them in any way. DeSantis put them at the top of the list and gave them all the first crack at the vaccine. And now that they are all vaccinated, he is turning his attention to the younger generation.
Younger people are not as inclined to get a shot in the arm. And the governor understands that. But he also knows that they like to make their own choices. And he is not about to try and force them to do something they do not want to do. He knows that they will do what is right for them because it is the American way to make one’s own decisions and not have a Democrat telling them what to do.
